Assignment overview

The assessment examined women willingness to become entrepreneurs, the support needed to establish retail general stores and demand for daily-use and women-hygiene products. The planned intervention included entrepreneurship training and facilitation of bank finance.

Scope of work

Activities performed

  • Developed quantitative and qualitative questionnaires and checklists.
  • Surveyed 220 women across ten villages.
  • Conducted ten shopkeeper interviews and focus-group discussions with adolescent girls and men.
  • Trained interviewers and piloted digital survey tools.
  • Managed consent, field quality, data validation and ten-percent back checks.
  • Reported and presented findings in the agreed format.
